MELBOURNE 1 July 2010 - Australia’s most prestigious sustainability awards, the 2010 Banksia Awards, have made a last call for entries with the final entry date for the 2010 awards announced as August 2.
The 2010 awards span 15 categories including a new transportation, warehousing and logistics award called ‘Mindful Movement’, recognising the positive environmental impact of new transport technologies and innovative transport and distribution system design and management.

Executive director of the Banksia Environmental Foundation Graz van Egmond said, “The Mindful Movement award will be presented to the entry that best demonstrates leadership and innovation in reducing the impact of people and goods movement.”

”There’s still time to get on board with the submission process and we will be hosting additional information sessions for those that need it,” she continued.
Following an extensive judging process the award finalists will be announced on September 2nd, followed by the main awards ceremony to be held on October 15, 2010 at Sydney Town Hall.
